SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE

More big announcements this week as we inch ever closer to AIDC 2019.

We confirm a batch of new Speakers and Decision Makers, bolstering the line-up before the full program of sessions and screenings is announced on 6 February.

SPEAKER: JOHN BROWN (UK)

John Brown is a multi-award-winning cameraperson, director and photographer, specialising in natural history.

He has worked on such landmark series as Life in the Undergrowth, Frozen Planet, Africa, and Planet Earth II, and most recently was DOP for the tiger and chimpanzee films in BBC’s Dynasties series (pictured above).

John’s Cinematography Masterclass at AIDC 2019 will be moderated by Jen Peedom, director of Mountain, and presented by Screen Tasmania.

SPEAKER: CARO MELDRUM-HANNA (AUS)

Caro Meldrum-Hanna is an award-winning investigative reporter with ABC TV.

Most recently, Caro co-created, wrote and reported the critically acclaimed documentary series EXPOSED: The Case of Keli Lane in 2018, which continues to smash audience figures and quickly became the most viewed Factual program produced by the ABC, eclipsing even the UK drama Dr Who

THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG

John and Caro join a growing list of leading documentary talents and industry experts in the AIDC 2019 speaker line-up.
