OVERVIEW

Presented by AIDC and Screen Queensland with the support of Sunshine Coast Council, and in collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective, the first-ever Regionality Sunshine Coast is a one-day screen industry event designed to support and elevate documentary and factual practitioners in regional South East Queensland.

Happening Friday 26 July at the Maroochy RSL in Maroochydore, Queensland, Regionality Sunshine Coast will combine an international filmmaker spotlight, pitch workshop, industry sessions, curated meetings, and networking in a one-day event providing exposure for Queensland-based nonfiction practitioners.

Where: Maroochy RSL – 105 Memorial Avenue Maroochydore

Parking: Free car parking at 106 Memorial Avenue. You must provide your car registration to RSL staff for complimentary parking.

Please Note: you must purchase a valid ticket for Regionality Sunshine Coast to be eligible for Doc Chat 1:1 Meetings.

When you register your interest you will be asked to select a first and second preference for meetings. If you have a project to pitch, you will be asked to provide a short overview.

Doc Chat 1:1 Meetings will take place on Friday 26 July 2024. The deadline to register your interest is 11.59pm Friday 19 July 2024.

Tickets are now on sale and provide access to all Regionality Sunshine Coast sessions.

  • Regular – $90 
  • Members (AIDC, Sunshine Coast Screen Collective and Screenworks members) – $80 
  • Concession (Full time students and concession card holders) – $70 

A transaction fee of 2.5% will apply to all ticket purchases. Photo ID must be shown when collecting your pass at the venue. Proof of concession, student or membership status may also be required.
