As the lead investment manager in the documentary unit at Screen Australia, Jeni has a deep understanding of how the industry works from both a creative and financial perspective.

Formerly an independent producer and principal of Rebel Films, she brings over 20 years experience producing and financing award-winning Australian content for broadcast and on-line. Throughout her career she has worked closely with First Nations communities and creatives on hybrid series such as the iconic and much-loved Bush Mechanics and Black As. With over 20 broadcast credits for Australian broadcasters, career highlights include the commission of a replica Bush Mechanics vehicle for permanent display at ACMI, the multi-award winning Then the Wind Changed (2012 Walkley, 2012 ADG Nomination, 2013 ACCTA, 2013 Logie Nomination) and the online success of the Black As series.


Screen Australia is a Federal Government agency charged with supporting Australian screen development, production and promotion.

Screen Australia was established under the Screen Australia Act 2008 and from 1 July 2008 took over the functions and appropriations of its predecessor agencies, the Australian Film Commission (AFC), the Film Finance Corporation Australia (FFC) and Film Australia Limited.
