Madeleine is an award-winning writer, director, producer and presenter of television, film and virtual reality.

In 2018 Madeleine directed the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Comedy Special, Nanette, the ABC ten-part series, Corey White’s Roadmap To Paradise, Adelaide FF Fund supported VR documentary Running 62: The Arrival and mentored first time film-maker Zibeon Fielding as co-director of his documentary Running 62.

Her first broadcast documentary, Meatwork, was awarded 2013 Best Direction by the Australian Director’s Guild (ADG) and first short, Murder Mouth won Best Film at Bondi FF and Cineglobe FF, the Audience Choice Award at the SASAs and Best Grassroots at Brisbane and was nominated for Best Film at St Kilda FF and Best Short Documentary at the IF Awards. Her series, Maddie Parry: Tough Jobs was nominated for the ADG’s Best Documentary Series Award.

Madeleine has produced radio for Triple J’s current affairs program Hack, written for Australia’s largest independent women’s media group, Mamamia, served as part of the team for the Human Rights and Arts Film Festival, the VR programming team for the Sydney FF and on the documentary jury for the Adelaide FF.

With 10 years experience, Madeleine crafts nuanced narratives that have authenticity, insight and humour.
