Stacey is an award-winning creative producer and director who is passionate about making cinematic films which are filled with humour and heart. Before turning her attention to film, Stacey worked in factual television for 16 years, producing and co-creating award-winning documentary series such as The Beat (CTV) and In Real Life (YTV).

H2L Productions is a boutique film and television production company based in Montreal, Quebec. The company was founded in 2014 by production veteran Stacey Tenenbaum. H2L Productions specializes in entertaining character-driven documentaries which are shot internationally. The company’s first feature documentary Shiners had its world premiere at Hot Docs and was named one of the best 10 films of 2017 by the Globe and Mail. The film aired on the documentary Channel and TV5 Quebec-Canada in 2017 and on PBS, Independent Lens in 2018. H2L Productions second feature documentary, Pipe Dreams, premiered at Hot Docs and will have a Canadian Theatrical release before screening on the documentary Channel in the Fall of 2019 and PBS Independent Lens in the Summer of 2020 . Ro*Co films is the international sales agent for the film. Gravitas Ventures is releasing it in the USA and Northern Banner releasing is taking care of the Canadian theatrical release. H2L Productions is currently in production on Scrap, an environmental art documentary about where things go to die and is in development on Tough Old Broads, a film about female trailblazers and Death Tour, a film about professional wrestling in the Canadian North.
