Sam is a passionate story-centered screen industry professional with over 15 years experience as a producer, writer, story producer and director.

Sam is currently Head of Content Investment at VicScreen. Prior to this, she was a Production Executive at VicScreen leading documentary development and production, a highlight of which was conceiving and delivering the Originate Factual program with UK TV stalwart Fatima Salaria.

Before joining VicScreen Sam work extensively as a producer, writer, director, story consultant and script assessor. Sam’s most recent credits include writing & story producing And We Danced a 3-part series about the history of the Australian Ballet; producing theatrical documentaries Anonymous Club, Palazzo Di Cozzo and co-writing, co-directing and co-producing MIFF Premiere Fund Film No Time For Quiet,  which was also versioned for ABC and the inspiration behind the ACCTA and Logie-nominated ABC 10-part kids live action series Turn Up The Volume, for which she was a Story Consultant.
