Molly O'Connor is a creative producer with an interest in compassionate and innovative filmmaking, and production experience across theatrical, broadcast and online projects.

Molly has produced projects that have screened locally and internationally, with recent producing credits including feature documentary, Rewards for the Tribe, which premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2023, half-hour documentary Inconceivable (ABC Compass), BIOPIC, artist Madison Bycroft’s micro-budget, experimental feature film and Assistant Producing feature documentary Television Event (Tribeca Film Festival 2020).

Molly is currently in development on a number of projects including the hybrid documentary Ocean Eyes, by Writer/Director Eugenia Lim which has recently been selected for the 2024 Berlinale Short Form Station.

In 2021 Molly was selected as a Screen Producers Australia ‘Ones to Watch’. Molly also joined the team at independent production company Film Camp as a recipient of Screen Australia’s Enterprise People Program and is currently working as a producer across their slate of projects. Most recently Molly was selected for VicScreen’s inaugural 2023 Originate Factual program.
