Mags joined the South Australian Film Corporation in September 2025 as Production Executive – SA Led, bringing with her a distinguished international career across screen production, agency leadership, and on‑set craft.

In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Documentary Australia SheDoc Fellowship, recognising her contribution to Australia’s factual storytelling sector. Prior to joining SAFC, Mags held senior strategic roles including Head of Content at Screen Queensland and Head of Screen Attraction at North-West Vision in the UK, where she led initiatives to drive production growth and industry development.

Mags previously served as Head of International Production at the BAFTA‑winning UK/Singapore factual studio MAKE Waves, overseeing major global projects for Netflix, HBO and the BBC. Her production experience spans roles as Line Producer and Senior Production Manager at WildBear Entertainment, Production Executive at NITV and SBS, and Production Manager at the ABC—reflecting a broad and deep understanding of Australia’s screen landscape.

Before moving into executive roles, Mags built a 15‑year on‑set career as a Sound Recordist and Boom Operator, collaborating with internationally acclaimed directors including Anthony Minghella and Fernando Meirelles, and working alongside five Oscar‑winning Sound Recordists. Mags’ creative work also extends to directing: her debut short film secured international sales after screening at Cannes in the mid-2000s.
