Maggie co-wrote, directed, and produced Journey Home, David Gulpilil which received the AACTA 2026 award for Best Documentary and Best Original Score in a documentary, and received an AWGIE nomination.

Early in her career Maggie spent twelve years in the Northern Territory as a co-director of Burrundi Pictures, a co-producing entity on feature Yolngu Boy with Australian Children’s Television Foundation and Yothu Yindi Foundation.

Maggie wrote, directed andproduced the documentary Dare to Be Different narrated by Geraldine Doogue with a special version for ABC Compass, and co-wrote, directed and produced the Stan. Original documentary Trailblazers about the rise of women’s football, made with past and present Matildas.

Maggie was co-writer, producer, impact producer on the HIVE Adelaide Film Festival, Shark Island, Documentary Australia, Good Pitch film Guilty. Maggie produced fictional dramas The Turning, Paper Planes and High Ground all of which premiered at the Berlinale.

Maggie was also a script editor on High Ground, winner SPA Best Film and Film Critics Circle of Australia, Best Film 2021.
