Jason is a policy advisor in the Australian screen sector working for the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts.

Responsible for the area providing policy advice and administering various programs that support Australia’s screen sector.

This includes the Australian Screen Production Incentive (comprising the Producer Offset, the Post, Digital and Visual Effects Offset and the Location Offset), the Digital Games Tax Offset, and Australian content obligations on streaming services, commercial and subscription television broadcasters.

The Branch is also responsible for equity and inclusion across the creative industries’ and implementing the actions of, Equity, the Arts and Disability Associated Plan.

The branch also works with Australia’s national arts training organisations and is responsible for workforce development, arts education and training policy.
