Award-winning Ngarigo/Yuin /Worimi filmmaker, Daniel King has been making content for broadcast and his community for over 15 years.

Mainly working with Indigenous content, Daniel believes in ‘reclaiming our historical narrative, empowering our voices, and celebrating our identity’. In 2021 Daniel was the inaugural recipient of the Indigenous Documentary mid career placement with AIDC, ABC and Northern Pictures.

Working across all genres Daniel’s recent credits include the TV one-hour documentary Trading Cultures (NITV/SBS), Great Southern Landscapes staring Rachel Griffith (ABC TV) and the feature documentary, Her Name is Nanny Nelly (NITV/SBS).

Daniel has a Masters of Film and TV from the Victorian Collage of the Arts (University of Melbourne)
