Anne-Maree Sparkman (Australia)
Executive Producer
Independent

Anne-Maree has spent more than 35 years in television production. Beginning in the Nine Network newsroom in Melbourne, she went on to become the ground-breaking first female reporter and presenter for the iconic Wide World of Sport and Sports Sunday.

18 years ago, Anne-Maree joined one of Australia’s premier production companies, WTFN and was the driving force behind many successful prime-time network programs including the observational documentaries, Paramedics, Bondi Vet, Vet on the Hill and Tattoo Tales.

In 2022, Anne-Maree began a freelance consultancy and was invited by the production company, JAMTV to produce a six-part ground-breaking series on the AFLW for Disney Australia. Immersed with four clubs throughout an entire season, it was a revealing, often raw insight into the struggles and triumphs of the pioneering female footballers.

A passion for storytelling is Anne-Maree’s inspiration. Leading motivated, creative teams from filming to the final edit to make programs the viewing public will love and relate to is the ultimate reward.
