Save the Date for AIDC 2026

AIDC 2026 will take place Monday 2 March - Thursday 5 March 2026, with an online international marketplace Wednesday 11 March and Thursday 12 March 2026

After an inspiring and future-focused 2025 event, the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) will return to ACMI in Melbourne / Naarm for four electrifying days, kicking off Monday 2 March and running until Thursday 5 March, 2026

Plus, the AIDC 2026 online international marketplace will move to the week following the conference, Wednesday 11 March and Thursday 12 March, 2026

The 31st edition of Australia’s longest-running, all-genre, all-format documentary and factual industry event, AIDC 2026 will once again feature a program exploring the most pressing and relevant topics for the sector, marketplace opportunities with local and international industry representatives, and countless chances to network and connect.

Returning program highlights and marketplace opportunities include the AIDC Awards, The FACTory International Pitching Forum, Cut to the Chase curated meetings program, The Showroom slate pitch, the Indigenous Creators Program, the Leading Lights program, and much more.
