Regionality Sunshine Coast 2025 - First Guests Announced
Meet the first batch of participating decision makers set to speak and take meetings at this year’s event

AIDC and Screen Queensland with the support of Sunshine Coast Council, in association with Screen Collective, are excited to announce the first line-up of local decision makers confirmed to participate in Regionality Sunshine Coast, a one-day documentary and factual screen industry event happening Monday 28 July at Mantra Mooloolaba Beach.
Decision makers representing broadcasting, streaming, and film funds will be on the ground to connect with documentary and factual practitioners from regional and South East Queensland through industry sessions, 1:1 meetings and networking events.
The initial line-up includes:
RICHARD HUDDLESTON | HEAD OF DOCUMENTARY, SCREEN AUSTRALIA
Richard has over 25 years of experience in the television industry, with creative and strategic leadership positions across a wide range of genres. He joined Screen Australia as the head of documentary in 2024 and is responsible for driving the strategic direction for the agency’s documentary funding programs as well as implementing broader content department priorities.
KALITA CORRIGAN | COMMISSIONING EDITOR, FACTUAL, ABC
As a commissioning editor for ABC Documentary + Specialist, Kalita is passionate about finding ways to make Australian stories – history / true crime / arts – entertaining and informative, and is looking to commission new factual formats and feature documentaries.
BERNADINE LIM | SENIOR COMMISSIONING EDITOR, FACTUAL, SBS
Bernadine Lim is a seasoned media executive and creative producer who understands both the art and business of impactful factual storytelling. Bernadine is senior commissioning editor of factual at SBS Australia. Formerly, she was the head of documentary at Screen Australia and executive producer of the award-winning SBS Dateline.
CIERON CODY | SENIOR COMMISSIONING EDITOR, NITV
Cieron joined NITV in 2024, as senior commissioning editor. Cieron is a development and production executive with experience in agency and broadcast settings. With a focus on project and slate management, Cieron has overseen the development, finance, production and completion of over 100 titles.
DANIELLE AH BOO | HEAD OF ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER UNIT, SCREEN QUEENSLAND
Danielle is Screen Queensland’s Head of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit, a leadership role created to uplift First Nations voices across the state’s screen industry. In this role Danielle works to elevate awareness of the cultural significance of First Nations storytelling and to amplify First Nations voices across the sector. Her work underscores the power of truth-telling which holds immense significance in shaping our nation’s history.
IAN LYNCH | CONTENT DIRECTOR, SCREEN QUEENSLAND
Ian is an experienced producer, director, and team leader in the creative production of network broadcast, online, and streaming content. He joined Screen Queensland after a career in the UK, and has supported feature documentaries including WildBear’s upcoming Joh: The Last King of Queensland, Glass Engine’s Hinckley: I Shot The President and Wes Greene’s The Gold; as well as factual series Onion TV’s The Rise of the Dolphins: Season 2025, Seven’s Treasure Hunters Down Under and Aussie Truck Rehab.
JESSE MCCART | PROGRAM MANAGER, ONLINE CONTENT, SCREEN QUEENSLAND
Jesse McCart is the program manager for online at Screen Queensland, developing and overseeing a variety of new initiatives for online creators across the state. In the past year, these programs have supported over 20 online projects.
