Share in up to $35,000 of equity investment through development, production, and post-production support

OVERVIEW

As part of its commitment to the documentary sector and the development of great talent, The Post Lounge Group – comprising post-production house The Post Lounge and its production arm Orange Entertainment Co. – is looking to support standout documentary and factual projects with a share in up to $35,000 of equity investment through development, production, and post-production support.

The Post Lounge Group is inviting pitches from producers with projects at any stage including documentary features, one-off or series in the making across any genre – from ob-doc to factual entertainment, archival, or true crime.

The Post Lounge Group is keen to work with producers to enhance the audience experience through screen and sound, in particular, projects where the creative team is keen to break the mould of documentary post-production.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible to apply for The Post Lounge Group Doc Pitch applicants must:

  1. Be 18 years of age or over;
  2. Have at least one Australian team member with an Australian ABN to be eligible to apply;
  3. Submit a documentary feature, one-off or series project in development for consideration;
  4. If selected, be available to attend an in-person pitching session with The Post Lounge Group representatives during AIDC, Melbourne between Monday 2 – Thursday 5 March 2026.
  5. If selected for post-production support, be able to complete post-production at one of The Post Lounge facilities in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

All applicants must register for an AIDC Business Pass / Online Business Pass or an All Access Pass / Online All Access Pass and apply through AIDC’s Cut to the Chase program to be eligible for The Post Lounge Doc Pitch.

AIDC is currently accepting applications for The Post Lounge Group Doc Pitch. Projects in development across documentary feature, one-off or series projects are eligible to apply.
