This highly-competitive pitching event is designed for non-fiction creators working in the XR sector to make meaningful connections with funders, festivals, exhibitors and buyers from around Australia.
Only one team member's details are required however you can supply up to five individual member's details. If team exceeds three creative team members please email additional details to [email protected]
1. In submitting this application, the applicant agrees to be bound by the rules and terms and conditions as set out by the Australian International Documentary Conference. 2. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. 3. The pitch must be nonfiction or include a nonfiction element, or the project will not be considered. 4. Interstate XR Pitch candidates who are selected to participate must pay their own way to attend and register for the 2020 conference. (If you live interstate and you are selected to pitch, we encourage you to contact your state agency for travel support). 5. Selected applicants will purchase a day-pass registration at $275 (incl. GST) providing them access to AIDC on Sunday 1 March 2020 by the allocated date or run the risk of losing their spot at the pitching event. Alternatively, selected applicants will be offered the opportunity to purchase a discounted All Access Pass at $891 (inc. GST). 6. Mentoring sessions will only take place in person in Melbourne between Monday 2 March and Wednesday 4 March 2020. Selected applicants will need to be in Melbourne during this time in order to take advantage of this opportunity. 7. AIDC shall use its best endeavours to treat all submissions confidentially however projects will be made available to Decision Makers participating in the Meet Your Maker XR Pitch. 8. There is a chance that a number of ideas submitted as part of Meet Your Maker XR Pitch - including the applicant’s – may contain subject matter, themes, activity, characters and other material that is similar to other projects submitted to AIDC. The applicant acknowledges that AIDC is not liable in the event that the project submitted by the applicant is in any way similar to a project selected by AIDC now or in the future. 9. By submitting your application, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. AIDC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
