Attendees of the first Regionality Sunshine Coast in 2024 found much to be impressed by, including filmmaker / director Indy Davies of Bad Publicity: “As an emerging documentary filmmaker, I found my first Regionality to be an incredibly valuable experience. The sessions covered a range of topics and it was a great opportunity to meet other supportive industry practitioners.”
Filmmaker Veronica Wain of Bus Stop Films, also noted, “Bringing experts from outside the region, reps from our state screen body, and decision makers from key networks is tremendously advantageous for emerging and established creatives.”
The sentiment was affirmed by Adam Niven, Production Team Manager with ACCTV: “Anyone looking to connect with documentary and factual content creators will benefit from attending these events.”
