Erika Dilday
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, AMERICAN DOCUMENTARY/POV (USA)

Erika Dilday, producer, journalist and media executive, is the Executive Director of American Documentary Inc. and the Executive Producer of its award-winning documentary series POV on PBS and America ReFramed on WORLD. As a producer, her latest film projects include Civil War (or, Who Do We Think We Are) with Rachel Boynton and Meanwhile with Catherine Gund. Previously, she was the CEO of Futuro Media Group, a multimedia organisation that gives a critical voice to the diversity of the American experience through award-winning journalistic content for and about BIPOC. Prior to Futuro Media, she was the executive director of Maysles Documentary Center where she oversaw community cinema, filmmaking programs and produced the acclaimed documentary, In Transit. Erika has also held strategic planning and financial management roles at The New York Times, National Geographic Television and CBS. She is a graduate of Harvard College, the Columbia School of Journalism and Columbia Business School. In 2020 she was a Knight Nieman fellow at Harvard University where she authored a piece for the Nieman Reports on authentic journalism in communities of colour. Erika is a 2016 recipient of the Columbia Journalism School Alumni Award and a 2017 National Arts Strategies Chief Executive Fellow.

Mat Kesting

Mat Kesting is a festivals and programming specialist having worked in the sector since the late 1990s. Named as one of Screen International’s Future Leaders, Mat has led the Adelaide Film Festival since 2019 as CEO & Creative Director. In this time, he has curated the AFF Investment Fund investments overseeing more than 50 fund investments, driven year on year box office and audience growth, a doubling of the AFF Investment Fund and overseen AFF’s transition from biennial to annual presentation. Mat is passionate about AFF and championing opportunities for filmmakers and cultivating audiences.

Jason Ryle
International Programmer, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and Global Indigenous Cinema, TIFF (CAN)

Jason Ryle is the International Programmer for the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Global Indigenous Cinema at the Toronto International Film Festival.

From July 2010 to June 2020, Jason was the Executive Director of imagineNATIVE, an Indigenous-run organisation mandated to support Indigenous filmmakers and media artists. In this capacity, Jason oversaw all operational and artistic activities of the annual imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, the world’s largest showcase of Indigenous screen content.

From 2013 until 2020, he was an Advisor for Indigenous films at the Berlinale, and from 2015 to 2020 he oversaw the Indigenous Cinema stand at the European Film Market. In February 2021, Jason received the Clyde Gilmour Award from the Toronto Film Critics Association. The award is bestowed to Canadians whose work has in some way enriched the understanding and appreciation of film in their native country.

Apart from TIFF, Jason works as an independent producer, curator, and story editor.

Kate Lemberg
Associate Manager, Industry Relations & Artist Programs, Points North Institute (USA)

Kate Lemberg is the Associate Manager, Industry Relations & Artist Programs at Points North Institute. A multi-faceted freelancer, she works in programming, artist development, and operations at film festivals all over the United States. She is the Creators Market producer and features assistant programmer at Tribeca; the narrative programmer at RiverRun International Film Festival; the Director of Operations for Middlebury New Filmmakers; and the Film Nominations Associate at the Independent Spirit Awards. She previously worked in artist programs and programming at DOC NYC and Nashville respectively. And has worked in festival operations at Palm Springs International and Seattle International Film Festivals. Kate has served as a juror for the IDA and New Orleans Film Festival and is a proud BA & MA alum of Cinema Studies at NYU Tisch.

Kelrick Martin
Head of Indigenous, ABC (AUS)

Kelrick is a Ngarluma man from Broome WA, and in 1998 was the inaugural presenter of ABC TV’s Message Stick. In 2002 he completed his Masters in Documentary Writing and Directing at AFTRS, and in 2007 returned to WA to become NITV’s Commissioning Editor. He formed Spear Point Productions in 2010 – credits include the multiple 2015 AACTA Award nominee Prison Songs. Kelrick was also the Indigenous Manager for Screenwest before joining the ABC as Head of Indigenous in 2016. His commissions at ABC include Black Comedy, Maralinga Tjarutja, and popular award-winning drama Total Control.

Dena Curtis

Dena joined NITV in 2024, as the Head of Indigenous Commissions and Production, overseeing NITV’s original content slate. Dena’s background is Producing and Directing.  Her work includes the acclaimed children’s series Grace Beside Me, Comedy Series 8MMM Aboriginal Radio, Vampire hunter series Firebite, documentaries Ella, A League of Her Own, Back to Nature and Rebels with a Cause which premiered at MIFF. As well as Factual Series’ Shadow Trackers and First Weapons, which took out GOLD at the New York Festivals Film and TV Awards in 2024.

Kate is a documentary producer and Executive Director of Shark Island Foundation. Producing highlights include Wash My Soul, The Department and Frackman. She’s EP of Shark Island’s The Pool and currently in production on The Valley. Support for Frackman through Good Pitch Australia introduced her to impact producing and she’s overseen the release and outreach strategies for a range of social issue films through Screen Australia backed Screen Impact. Motivated by the communities, conversations and change that documentary fosters, Kate is delighted to be supporting the sector through Shark Island Foundation.
