Since then Dan has combined these skills as an experience designer, working dextrously across platforms. He has designed experiences for a variety of clients in his role as creative director at Sandpit including Google, Museums Victoria, ACMI, Penguin Books, Science Gallery, ArtScience Museum Singapore, Melbourne Zoo, Australian Dance Theatre and the State Library of New South Wales.
Dan graduated from the Flinders University in 2004 and the Victorian College of the Arts in 2005. He then went on to found PLOT Media working as creative director on TV commercial, short film, music video and interactive projects for 6 year. In 2012 he co-founded Sandpit, an experience design studio creating tactile, meaningful experiences with a vast range of clients. In 2017 his work with Sandpit moved to encompass whole building experiences, working collaboratively with architects and strategic artisans to deliver large scale, comprehensive experience design that touches on the built environment, technology and environmental design.
