Screenrights Cultural Fund and DocAccess Preview

Business Screenrights' Cultural Fund supports initiatives that foster the creation and appreciation of screen content. Find out about recent recipient Documentary Australia and their project, DocAccess.

The Screenrights Cultural Fund is an annual grant round offering up to $50,000 per project for initiatives that provide broad benefit to the screen industry.

In this session we showcase the impressive new DocAccess initiative created by recipient Documentary Australia with support from the Screenrights Cultural Fund. DocAccess is a resource that supports filmmakers and communities to run impactful screenings all around Australia. It provides a suite of tools, instructional videos and templates to educate and equip community groups to contact film rights-holders, license films, organise their events, and create lasting social impact. A series of curated playlists will support prospective partners to use documentaries to raise awareness, convene conversations and create impact.

Join us for a sneak preview of the platform and find out how filmmakers can use it to engage new audiences. You’ll also be able to find out more about the Screenrights Cultural Fund and how to apply for grant funding for your screen industry initiative in 2024.
