Become One of AIDC's Prestigious Leading Lights Donors

HELP US USHER IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF DOCUMENTARY AND FACTUAL STORYTELLERS

TIME TO GET ON BOARD

The end of the financial year is fast approaching, and that means there’s still time to support AIDC’s Leading Lights initiative.

Leading Lights is AIDC’s philanthropic fund designed to support emerging, Indigenous, and/or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) documentary and factual practitioners.

Each tax-deductible donation to the value of $650 enables one Leading Lights recipient to attend AIDC for the first time and participate in a suite of professional development programs.

This year, thanks to the generous support of 16 leading Australian screen companies and individuals, 37 emerging and diverse practitioners were given the opportunity to attend AIDC and participate in the Leading Lights program.

Since introducing the program in 2018, 217 practitioners from all states and territories have been able to attend AIDC for the first time and access vital professional development opportunities.

But 2023 isn’t over yet, and with EOFY coming up, now is the perfect time to donate and kickstart Leading Lights for AIDC 2024!

INTRODUCING THE NEXT GENERATION

“Leading Lights is a fantastic way for us to connect with new voices in the documentary landscape. We get to meet so many talented filmmakers who have already set themselves apart from the crowd just by being selected for the program.”
