The Full Colour Project

Director, Suzi Taylor, is activist filmmaker. In addition to this project, she makes documentaries for the Victorian union movement full-time, and is working on a TV series.

The Full Colour Project is a unique, longitudinal doco series which follows a group of 10 diverse LGBTQA+ young people and touches base with them every 10 years. This project started filming a decade ago, with SBS TV coming-of-age documentary film ‘Love in Full Colour’. It followed 12 queer teenagers over several years, and captured their experiences of being bullied, falling in love and attending the Minus18 Queer Formal. This year – in 2022 – we’re making a follow-up film: ’10 Years in Full Colour’ with the same group, who are now in their 20s.
