Sarah Thornton is Head of Popular Factual at Network 10 where for the last 5 years she was Executive Producer of The Project. She also sits across and Executive produces shows for Paramount+ and Ch10 such as Taskmaster, Couples Therapy, The Bridge, Undressed, Todd Sampson’s Mirror Mirror, First Dates, The Dog House Australia and documentary series including most recently Claremont: A Serial Killer Among Us.

 Sarah has over two decades of experience in programming including 17 years in the UK where she most recently worked as Head of production and Development at Discovery channel. As a freelance show runner, she worked across multiple factual entertainment and documentary series for Sky, C4, Channel Five and the BBC including Cheating at Athens: is it worth it, Pineapple Dance Studios and Getting God: ISLAM. She has also developed factual entertainment formats such as Say Yes to the Dress UK, Undercover Dads and Kitchen Nightmares.

Her shows have been nominated for BAFTAs and won both Royal Television Society and Rose D’Or awards. Sarah began her career in News and Current Affairs at the Nine Network.
