Madeleine is a documentary filmmaker based in Melbourne whose work is inspired by people and places out of time, exploring the complexities of memory and nostalgia.

A graduate from the Master of Film & Television at the Victorian College of the Arts, Madeleine directed the ABC Arts web-series The Unmissables. Her short films, Shore Leave, Afterword and Tomato Day have screened at festivals and galleries both nationally and internationally. Madeleine employs a range of documentary practices depending on her subject, with a special interest in observational and archival based storytelling. Palazzo Di Cozzo is her first feature film that premiered at MIFF 2021, followed by a national theatrical release, and will be broadcast on the ABC in 2022.
