Emmy Award-winning brothers Chapman and Maclain Way are the producers and directors behind the Netflix documentary series Untold, which premiered to critical acclaim in 2021 and brings fresh eyes to epic tales from the wide world of sports.

They are also behind the Netflix documentary series Wild Wild Country, which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and went on to garner five Emmy nominations, including a win for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.

The Way brothers’ debut film was The Battered Bastards of Baseball which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival where it was acquired by Netflix and released as one of their earliest original documentary films. They also directed a segment on the documentary The Silver Thief for Amazon’s first-ever original docuseries The New Yorker Presents.

In 2018, they were listed by Variety as one of the top ten new documentary filmmakers to watch.
