After holding various positions in the cultural sector (mostly museums) across Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Dresden, and Geneva; Linde Dehner started working for ZDF/ARTE.

She started as a commissioning editor at the department theme-evenings (thema), took over current affairs, continued with documentaries and factual series. Now she is a member of the science department and responsible for the 52’ science-, the 43’ “far away people” and the 52’ “history light” documentary slots.


The European channel ARTE is a collaboration between Germany and France. Approximately 20% of the program is delivered from ZDF. ZDF is a major public broadcaster in Europe.
