Jo is currently Manager, Regional & Local, overseeing a slate of internal programs Gardening Australia, Back Roads, and Landline, and with responsibility for developing new programs for TV and digital platforms across the ABC.

Jo Chichester began her career as a radio announcer, reporter and producer at triple j, 702 Sydney and Radio National before moving to ABC TV in 2013. She has worked on a range of programs in Arts, Comedy and Entertainment including Sunday Arts, Judith Lucy’s Spiritual Journey, Kitchen Cabinet, At the Movies, and The Book Club.

As Executive Producer, ABC TV Arts Jo commissioned a range of successful documentaries including Brilliant Creatures, Outback Choir, Stop Laughing This is Serious, Streets of Your Town, Mambo: Life Irritates Art, The Go-Betweens: Right Here, Stranded, Spear, and the upcoming feature doc Midnight Oil: Backburning.
