Elina Kewitz graduated from the University of Siegen in Germany in 2004 with a degree in media planning, consulting and development. She gained her first professional experience as a PR consultant and artists’ manager. She spent almost seven years working as an International Sales Manager for documentary and factual films with united docs GmbH, the distribution subsidiary of Germany’s public broadcaster ARD and its regional channels. She founded NEW DOCS in 2012 and since then has been managing director of it  – a world sales agency of  documentary films.

We offer a selected portfolio of one-offs and series from the fields of history, science, current affairs, human interest, culture, art, travel and natural history. We do not consider ourselves as a traditional marketer for films but rather as a long-term distribution partner for independent producers.
