2022 The Post Lounge Doc Series Pitch

Do you have a docu-series in the making across any genre – from ob-doc to reality, archival, or true crime? Take part in The Post Lounge Doc Series Pitch.

OVERVIEW

As part of its commitment to the documentary sector and the development of great talent, The Post Lounge is looking to support a standout documentary series project with up to $30,000 worth of equity investment through post-production.

Post-production is a big part of any project, but particularly important for documentary series projects. The Post Lounge is keen to work with producers to enhance the audience experience through screen and sound, in particular, projects where the creative team is keen to break the mould of documentary post-production.

“THE POST LOUNGE HAS ALWAYS HAD A STRONG CONNECTION WITH FACTUAL – WORKING WITH PRODUCERS OF ONE-OFF SERIES AND THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS ACROSS OUR BRISBANE, MELBOURNE AND NOW SYDNEY POST STUDIOS. IT’S WHY WE’RE VERY EXCITED TO BE PARTNERING WITH AIDC FOR THE POST LOUNGE DOC SERIES PITCH INITIATIVE. THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE FOR US TO NOT ONLY BACK GREAT STORIES IN THE SPACE BUT BUILD EVEN MORE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE DOCO COMMUNITY WE LOVE WORKING WITH.”

– KURT ROYAN, MANAGING DIRECTOR, THE POST LOUNGE
