BY TRAIN

Flinders Street Station is the primary train station when travelling to ACMI and Fed Square. It is located within Zone 1 and is a short walk from the venue. You will require a MYKI card which can be purchased at any metropolitan train station and most major convenience stores. Trains operate until approx. 12:30am Monday – Friday and run on a reduced timetable over the weekend. We advise that you plan your journey in advance.

BY TRAM

Tram numbers 1, 16, 3, 5, 6, 64, 67 and 72 all stop on Swanston St at Fed Square. You can also catch trams 30 and 35 (City Circle Tram) along Flinders Street, to Flinders Street station.

Melbourne operates a Free Tram Zone in the CBD which includes the area from the iconic Queen Victoria Market across to Victoria Harbour in Docklands, up to Spring Street and over to Flinders Street Station and Fed Square.

Travel on trams within this zone is free, and you don’t need a MYKI, however, if your journey starts or finishes outside the boundaries of the Free Tram Zone, you must touch on your MYKI at the reader to make sure you have a valid ticket.

The Free Tram Zone signs at tram stops will identify the boundaries of the zone.

BY PLANE

Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) is located approximately 25km north-west of Melbourne’s CBD. All major and domestic airlines fly into Tullamarine Airport.

BY TAXI

Taxi ranks are located on the ground floor outside Terminals 1 and between Terminal 2 and 3. Taxi ranks are located on the ground floor of the transport hub outside Terminal 4.

BY RIDESHARE

Rideshare services pick up travellers from two locations at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport:

  • Rideshare drivers Pick-up passengers from two locations:
  • Terminals 1,2 & 3 – Lane 3 of the forecourt​
  • Terminal 4 – Level 2, inside the Terminal 4 Car Park​

BY RENT-A-CAR

Melbourne Airport has six car rental companies located on site. All have offices on the ground floor of the Terminal T1, T2, T3 car park, and information desks in the Melbourne Airport domestic terminals. Click here for companies operating from Melbourne Airport.

BY BUS

Skybus offers an express bus service from the airport to the city centre. This service operates 24/7, including all public holidays. Buses run every 10 minutes throughout the day.

Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the bus stop or purchased online at www.skybus.com.au.

PARKING

Paid parking is available at the Fed Square carpark, located on the Russell Street Extension or via the second entrance off Batman Ave. It’s a 2 minute (200m) walk from Fed Square car park to ACMI.

There is also a Wilson Parking at 172/192 Flinders St, which is directly opposite ACMI’s Flinders Street entrance.
