Veatch is a writer, director, and producer of documentary titles such as Me @ The Zoo (HBO) and Love Child (HBO). Her award-winning work deals with the intersection of technology and society. Veatch’s latest feature film, Ghost in the Machine, premiered at Sundance 2026 and is a mind-expanding investigative essay documentary that excavates the philosophical, cultural, and political forces driving the global AI boom. She is a graduate of the New School for Social Research with a degree in Culture and Media Studies.
