INDIGENOUS CREATORS PROGRAM: WELCOME 2026

Events & Parties Indigenous Creators Program participants are invited to gather together at Riverland on the banks of the Birrarung (Yarra River) to connect with First Nations practitioners attending AIDC in person in Naarm (Melbourne).

All 2026 Indigenous Creators Program participants are invited to gather for a meet and greet with all First Nations practitioners attending AIDC in person in Naarm (Melbourne).

The Indigenous Creators Program Welcome is held at Riverland, on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung peoples and situated on the banks of the Birrarung, meaning ‘River of Mists’, in the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people. The Birrarung was once an eel breeding ground, where sharks, dolphins and stingrays could be found.
