SCREEN AGENCY MARKET AND TRAVEL SUPPORT
Looking for support to attend AIDC? Each year, Australian state and territory screen agencies provide opportunities for market and travel support. Check your relevant screen agency on the links below.
Screen Queensland
Screen Queensland is offering up to 20 Queensland-based practitioners the opportunity to attend the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 March 2026.
Market and Travel grants to AIDC 2026 will include: registration (valued at $1030) and up to $1,000 towards travel expenses such as flights, accommodation and ground travel.
Applications closed Sunday 4 January.
Screenwest
Screenwest has opened a competitive travel round to support WA screen practitioners attending AIDC 2026 which takes place in Melbourne from 2 – 5 March 2026.
A set amount of $2,000 to assist with flights, accommodation and registration will be provided. A budget is not required as part of the application.
This is a competitive round and only a limited number of practitioners will be supported.
Screenwest recognises the work that goes into the preparation and submission of applications. Due to the anticipated volume of applicants, we are unable to provide individual feedback on individual applications.
WA First Nations practitioners and WA practitioners from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Screen Tasmania
Screen Tasmania is offering Conference Support for Tasmanian practitioners wanting to attend AIDC 2026.
SAFC
AIDC 2026 passes are available are for mid-career and established South Australian factual producers, providing a 50% discount on the purchase of an All Access Pass to the conference.
To support the aims of the SAFC Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, early career factual key creatives from under-represented backgrounds are also eligible for this subsidy.
Successful applicants will receive a link from the SAFC to apply for the discount when they register for an AIDC All Access Pass.

Screen NSW
Screen NSW has opened a competitive travel round to provide a limited number of NSW screen practitioners (working in factual) with funding support to attend the 2026 Australian International Documentary Conference, being held in Naarm, Melbourne from March 2-5, 2026.
