She is a second-generation Australian and a first-generation university graduate with a PhD in stem cell biology. Dr Naomi is the creator of the online health series Bimbo Biology Body Breakdown, director and producer of the second season of Sextistics, was a presenter and producer at ABC and a biology expert on Discovery Channel.

She co-created the short film FA(C)TS which used burlesque to teach people about health, DeadlyLabs: Robinson River which showcased Elders in Robinson River sharing their scientific knowledge with children and those children becoming teachers, and DeadlyLabs: Kickin’ It which was made with incarcerated children to showcase a scientific kit they created that has been distributed to juvenile prisons across the country.
