Ben Ulm is one of Australia's most experienced television storytellers, in a 35 year career spanning documentary, factual entertainment, lifestyle, reality, news, live events and scripted comedy.

Currently ITV Studios Australia’s Head of Factual & Reality, Ben has overseen 6 seasons of  I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! as well as documentary series for the ABC and SBS (including the highly ambitious series Keeping Australia Alive, Keeping Australia Safe and the soon to launch observational documentary series about immigration Who Gets To Stay In Australia? for SBS).  He has Executive Produced, Directed or Written more than 100 documentary hours for broadcasters in Australia and internationally (Channel 4, National Geographic, Discovery), winning a Logie Award for Outstanding Factual in 2011 (Trishna & Krishna: The Quest For Separate Lives) and several other awards.
Reality series has overseen include I’m A Celebrity, Farmer Wants A Wife and Bollywood Star.  For over 2 decades he has captured extraordinary real stories in difficult to penetrate worlds, with revealing observational documentary series inside courtrooms, prisons, medical institutions, law firms, subcultures and tribal communities around the world (he has been making documentaries in Africa since 1991).
Ben has also developed and produced original concepts for television.  His passion….is people, and the stories they reveal.
