Leading Lights Fund

Become an industry Leading Light and champion a new generation of creators

AIDC’s Leading Lights Fund gives established screen media and production companies the chance to champion the next generation of nonfiction screen content creators.

We’re asking the industry’s strongest players to pay-it-forward by providing promising new documentary and factual talent the opportunity to attend AIDC in 2018.

A business can become a Leading Light by making a tax-deductible donation to AIDC to the value of one or more FOCUS Passes ($605).

The funds will be used to provide eligible early-career filmmakers and factual content creators – who have not attended AIDC before – with first-time access to AIDC 2018’s Sessions and Masterclasses.

The Leading Lights Fund is designed to ensure that the best and brightest newcomers in nonfiction have early access to the Australian industry’s premier forum and networking event.

The goal is to bring new ideas and new voices to the table, enriching the documentary and factual community and building the foundations for the future of the industry.

“Helping to foster new talent in the nonfiction sector ultimately benefits us all. The team at Beyond is proud to support this great initiative.”
Mikael Borglund, CEO and MD, Beyond International
