​Volunteer Recruitment for AIDC 2017

The 2017 Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) is fast approaching and we are looking for a number of enthusiastic volunteers to help out in the lead up (Wed 1 March - Sat 4 March) and during the event (Sunday 5 March - Wed 8 March).

Based at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne, AIDC 2017 will host a four-day documentary project marketplace, forum and screening program, attracting a diverse mix of broadcasters, storytellers, entrepreneurs and documentary fans from Australia, the Asia-Pacific and beyond.   

Responsibilities Include:

- Communications & Marketing support
- Delegate registration
- Screening / technical attendants
- Door attendants
- Bump in/bump out
- Assisting with installations/activations and signage
- Answering questions and directing delegates regarding program activities, session information and locations

In return for helping out you will receive a t-shirt, meal concession and the opportunity to sit in on sessions when not rostered on a shift. 

Priority will be given to applicants currently studying or recently graduated in the fields of event management, film & TV business or similar courses.
