If you are travelling from interstate or overseas, South Australia is a great part of the world to be in February. The climate can be quite hot (ranging from 28–42 degrees celsius) during the day with warm evenings.
Accompanying this ideal weather are a range of festivals in Adelaide over the February/March period. The Adelaide Film Festival begins on the final day of the conference and offers a huge range of exciting cinema; the Adelaide Fringe Festival runs for 3 weeks and showcases music, theatre, dance and comedy; and WOMADelaide music festival delivers sounds from around the planet.
