Market Place - Videotheque
The New and Revamped VIDEOTHEQUE – THE AIDC DVD LIBRARY - is now open!
View current Videotheque entries click here
This year all entries will be listed online in the lead up to the Conference, including the documentary synopsis, images and contact details!
This means that buyers, distributors and acquisition managers – and everyone else for that matter – can view these details as soon as they are submitted, and begin to select the documentaries that they are interested in, plan to view them during the Conference, and then contact you if they would like to initiate discussions.
If you have a completed documentary, and would like potential buyers to view it, then you must enter that documentary into Videotheque!
Submit your entry click here or read on for more information.
Videotheque is a DVD library of completed documentaries (both final and rough cut) within the AIDC 2009 Conference. Videotheque has multiple viewing facilities, including “rent overnight”, and a detailed catalogue of all titles available. Put your completed documentary on the shelves of Videotheque for viewing by a potential audience of over 600 national and international factual content practitioners! If you have a completed documentary, and would like potential buyers to view it, then you must enter that documentary into Videotheque!
2009’s Videotheque will be open for more days, for longer hours and have expanded viewing opportunities… Giving buyers, distributors and acquisitions managers even more opportunity to view your project, give valuable feedback, and get in contact if they are interested in your documentary.
In 2009, Videotheque will be open for business from 10.30am on Tuesday 17th February, and will operate to 7.30pm each night through until the last day of the conference (closing 6pm Friday 20th February). And if delegates want to watch Videotheque entries outside these hours or outside the Videotheque environment, they can “rent” up to 5 titles at a time and a personal DVD player if required, and watch these films in the comfort of their hotel room.
All buyers as well as the general public will have access to the online Videotheque catalogue, in the lead up to the Conference. This catalogue will contain contact details and a synopsis of each film, and will enable potential buyers to quickly and easily select documentaries that are of interest to them. As soon as a title is submitted into Videotheque the details will be put onto the online version of the Videotheque catalogue to pique interest of potential viewers. All buyers attending the Conference will also receive a hardcopy of the catalogue, and they will also have access to feedback forms after viewing the documentaries, to provide their opinions.
Enter your titles to Videotheque online and then post your DVD’s to AIDC. CLICK HERE to apply on line.
