In 2008 the AIDC headed back to Western Australia after a four year hiatus. From February 20-22 filmmakers, producers, commissioning editors, buyers and distributors from around the globe converged at the Esplanade Hotel in the port city of Fremantle for three days of intense discussion and debate, deal making, ideas swapping, screenings and socialising around the theme of Storytelling.
