Internationally renowned, AIDC attracts delegates and speakers from around Australia and overseas.

The conference offers the full range of participants in the factual film and broadcasting industry the opportunity to meet, network and be exposed to industry best practice from Australia and overseas. In addition, masterclasses and forums raise and explore current challenges and showcase work.

In 2009 Adelaide will play host to this intensive three-day event which will see upward of 600 national and international delegates converge on the city.

The 2009 Theme Who’s Watching?, will swing the spotlight onto the role of the audience, with various sessions, masterclasses and discussion panels investigating the questions of who, how, when and where factual media content is consumed.

The 2009 program has two additional themed program strands:
