About AIDC - History
The Australian International Documentary Conference was established in Adelaide in 1987. We are now celebrating twenty years of coming together as a community under the umbrella of this conference.
Each conference has been hosted by a different region of Australia and it has grown from a local biennial conference, with a few international guests to become a significant yearly event on the international documentary calendar for factual film and television, seen as the leading documentary conference and market in the region.
The conference now attracts over 500 national and international delegates.
